Popular sequel trilogy characters like Rey and Kylo Ren have received different skin styles around those newer films, meanwhile other longtime favorites like Darth Maul only have their default outfit. Dice has been releasing new hero skins based on current Star Wars film at a great pace, but there are still a number of heroes in the game with no alternate skins. Playing as iconic characters from the Star Wars franchise is one of this game's best features. However, there are still a number of features I'd like to see come to the game this year. Next month the developer is adding stuff from the original trilogy to both the Coop and Supremacy modes. With all of the changes the developer has made over the last two years, players have been giving the game a second chance, and this time they're sticking around. Developer Dice was able to remove its initial (and controversial) loot box mechanics while also adding a ton of free characters, maps and game modes, and it continues to regularly balance the game. The Rise of Skywalker update and this week's addition of BB-8 as a playable character highlight just how far the Star Wars-themed multiplayer shooter has come since its rocky launch. There are no additional strings attached, so this will actually be a pretty easy outfit to get if you are will to put the time in.Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has seen a massive increase in player activity and interest in the last year. The quest is called “It’s Not Impossible” and players will have to eliminate 150 enemies in co-op to unlock the skin. To unlock this skin, players will have to log into Star Wars Battlefront 2 between March 6 and 9, and they will have to play in the co-op mode. If you remember, Luke did actually wield a lightsaber while wearing this outfit, albeit for a very limited time, so things shouldn’t feel too out of place seeing him running around the battlefield. This would, of course, be the now-iconic outfit that Luke was wearing throughout the A New Hope until he ditched it in favor of a Stormtrooper disguise. The month of March is perfect for all of the original trilogy fans in Star Wars Battlefront 2 as the developers have finally moved forward in the Age of Rebellion.Īs part of this wave of content, DICE is making a special Farmboy Luke skin available again.
